Please report any problem with this firmware, I can't verify this custom firmware works as I don't have anymore a Cube U30GT2 tablet to test the custom firmware.

Thanks! downloaded the fw from the chinese site already but have been busy too long with my previous tab (samsung p7510) so need to learn again how to root and stuff.
So thank you for your rooted and debloated fw, installing now!
Android geek owning a S3 with custom rooted fw, mid816 also custom rooted and a Cube U30Gt2 guess what....also custom rooted!

With this version, wifi is losing connection again. Also WiFi seems dreadfully slow at times. Worse than the previous version. I even removed the metal ring around the tablet, which makes the reception better, but still does not improve stability of the connection.Â
Browsing speed has not improved noticeably. It is still choppy. My IPad 2 is much much smoother. It seems to have problems to update the high resolution screen. So what you have is a tablet with a magnificent screen, as long as you do not scroll pages in a browser. Strangely enough watching movies is quite good. Something to do with GPU vs CPU?
Oh, and this version still has the Phone.apk which is a battery hog.
You can easily remove it with ES explorer, choose Root settings and Mount the systeem to RW, and then go to /system/apps and remove the Phone.apk, then reboot and use GSam battery monitor to see that Phone service is then 0%.
I think I will go back to the version I used previously:
It is not good but at least the WIFI seems to work. Wifi speed is still very bad: barely above 1.2 Mb/s if I sit next to my router, and drops to 0.1 Mb/s if I am more than 10 meters away with a wall in between (and I have the metal ring removed..).

It is clearly a "test" version, as described. It has crashed the tablet twice (which no other firmware, beta or otherwise has ever done). It is encouraging that Cube is moving to the new SDK. I think this firmware is going to rock!
In the meantime, it's back to the previous version, for 2 reasons - the very annoying sounds played during bootup, and the stability issues just reported.
