Hi,me and my friend bought this great tablet. We have tried several ROMs, but we keep having one problem. When we plug in the charger and start charging, it becomes less accurate, the reactions of the display become worse and unpredictable. As if the touch screen was not ok. When the tablet is charged and unplugged, everything is ok again. All tablets do this from the beginning, with all tested ROM.
Does this happen to you too? Is it OK?

Many thx,

Hello,
Well to give you an answer from the experience i have with chineese tablets that they all do this wierd thing with their screens when the power adaptor is connected.
I have 3 different brands of chineese tablets here at home and they all do this.
The following users say thank you to warsound for this useful post:

Hi, tried this latest release, and now the tablet doesn't connect to my router , just keeps initiating , changed settings in router and tried all channels, still same, this is getting frustrating, think best firmware is 4.1.1 1.05 and its battery life is better on that,
also not perfect smooth playing mkv files, im thinking of selling this now, and just getting a branded tablet like the sony tablet z , keeps getting new updates but i aint noticing anything getting fixed , well not face value

Brnky said I have the same ones problem during charging. Install the ROM with another OS than Win 8? Can you confirm? It could suggest a poor loader Rom? thanks
DarthJabba said I would imagine that it is a problem with the power adapter.
@ Sethi and Brnky - I don't see what charging of the tablet and the OS in my PC would have in common?
@ DarthJabba - it's probably not a problem of the adapters, we tried 3 different adapters so it is not very likely that all of them would be faulty. But @warsound wrote that all of his Chinese tablets do this. Your does not?
I have a chinese duo-core PiPO as well and this tablets does not have this problem.
Have a nice day,

No, it does not. It is perfect in every way. But I have a Chinese smartphone (Star S7589), and it was doing just that kind of stuff when it arrived. I discarded their power adapter, and used one I had before, and everything was fine. The seller sent me a replacement adapter (from China), and it was dead on arrival. He wanted to send yet another one, and I told him to forget it - I already had a few (from old HTC and Samsung smartphones) which worked fine. Apart from that, the phone itself is great.
Conclusion: Chinese devices have some quality assurance issues - you might get one that is perfect, and you might get one that is dodgy. It seems to be a lottery.
Bottom line: if you don't want to take any risks, or, if you are not a techie, then you might be well advised to buy a Samsung, or Sony, or Lenovo, etc., and pay the extra price for the extra peace of mind. Personally, I am very much a techie, and I am happy take the risk. I always buy Chinese now ...

Being very techie is being easily able to do techie stuff like flashing firmwares, etc. I don't have any problem with wireless; I am using the kasty firmwares.
Yes, I get smooth play with mkv files, using the Archos video player that is in the apps.zip file that someone on this forum has provided.

Hi, flashing roms is straight forward i tried alot since i got tablet, guess wireless depends what router you have as there are many out there, its frustrating as all the older roms the wireless worked fine on same router, will have to try archos player to see if mkv are any smoother, Thanks
