Just google translated some of the replies to the post about the new firmware and among other things it's on about a Windows 8 UI, why oh why would anybody want that UI??Rob
Thats what I saw too. just wondering about the "castrated pair resolution". Catrated could mean "cut"? still dont understand though.

One problem I seem to have is that the "most recent apps" feature does not work correctly. Every time I try to change apps using the "most recent apps" button, it just sends me back to the current app opened.Anyone else with this problem?
I have the same problem. Is there a way to fix it?

Its listed as a test firmware.
Been running for a couple of days now.
For me its a very good one, even with the oc kernel installed.
Battery life is much improved. Was getting at best 8hrs on all v2.04 firmware.
v2.06 is giving me 2 days including some browsing etc.
You dont have to have multiwindow enabled to get the previous apps to work.
Overall its a very nice update and fixes the niggles that were present in v2.04.

If you don't use the multi windowmfeature, the task switcher does not work correctly. It is fixed in the 2.96 test version, but for me, for a long time, tne best is the 2.04 july 27th version. I tried the 2.04 final, didn't like the tas switching problem, didn't like the multi window feaure, so I swtched back to the july 27 version. I tried the oct. 17 version, but it looked to me, that the july 27 version is still better for me.
Others say, that the 2.06 has much better battery life. I noticed the opposite of it, ot drains my battery much more. But in general, my batteries seems to be dying, because it drains much faster, than 2-3 monts before, new batteries are on the way, I will replace it, as it arrives.
