Hey,I could be wrong, but i think any 2.04 version has the battery issue. I've tried all mentioned in this forum, freaktab, htcmania and even on geekbuy forum, not one had this issue fixed.
Still on 2.03 from past june, but i do miss the noticable performance from 2.04, what i don't feel like is charching my tablet every single day
So until then i will wait patiently for a dev to discover and fix this big issue.
@Admin: You still around? Any news about new roms incoming? Cheers.
Actually, the 20130807 is 2.04 and does not have the battery drain issue. As far as I can see, I think the problem was the kernel itself, since the kernel's version it's the only difference that I can see between 0807 and 0810, as I said a few days ago:
THIS (20130810) version: … (GCC) ) #37 SMP PREEMPT Sat Aug 10 10:07:29 CST 2013
"TEST" (20130807) version: … (GCC) ) #28 SMP PREEMPT Sat Jul 27 15:10:10 CST 2013
So, I can confidently guess that you can install the 30130807 version and not have battery issues.
I'm really glad to see that it's working ok for a lot of people now. Glad to have been of service!
I never used test versions i confess, i tried this one and can confirm also that it does not have that battery issue. Will stay on this one the time being.
What i would like to suggest is, for those willing and understand the rom creation business, isn't it possible to detect what changed between this test version and 10/8 's that for sure is causing this issue. I've read on other posts, something related to kernel, could it be? Well just an idea and thx for insisting on the 7/8 version so far so good.

okay, my turn to report. Since last update, yesterday morning, kept it on with music player on from 7:40 to 4pm, screen asleep, wifi off that whole time, put it to sleep until about 8:30-9pm, then read through kindle app/amber color page with lower lighting until 12pm. put it to sleep for the night, not turning off power, still wifi off. Just got to the office and woke it up, power check is now at 39%.How does that sound, total of 23hrs:48mn.
Remeber I had music player on from 7:40ish to 4pm (screen off), then reading from 8:30-9pm until midnight(of course screen on). It's been asleep the rest of the time, no wifi or anything else running. All that and still 39% left.

My binary checks indicate that there are far fewer differences in the kernel images than there are in the system images. I doubt therefore that there are significant differences in the kernel. Of course, a single small difference (e.g., changing a value from 0 to 1) can have dramatic effect, so this is not saying very much. I don't think that we will get to the bottom of the differences unless we have the two complete source code trees to compare.
That being said, I will build a mod from 20130807, and we'll see what happens.

Hi, since we use the 2.04 version (both july or august kasty versions), there is a big problem with the battery management: the energy drains in a day or a night. Battery is too fast empty, even if you disable wifi!… Phone.apk deleted without incidence…
Right, confirmed by many users. Forget about battery sucker 2.04 2013-08-10 and install 2.04 2013-08-07 http://www.arctablet.com/blog/forum/cube-u30gt2/cube-v2-04-20130807-kasty-rom-darthjabba-mod-in-clockworkmod-cwm-update-zip-format/
