Still having problems with cwm install. All went well until reboot and the stock rom was reinstalled. I entered the command chmod 644 install-recovery.sh while in the system/etc/ directory but it said no such file or directory!

Any pointers would be great.

You can ignore that,  our rom doesn't contain this script so its properties can't be changed. Just move on with the next steps.

Concerning WiFi disconnects: I found an app named Regpo Wifi Keepalive in a thread for the 1.05 FW and gave it a try... Seems to work,  3 hours of continous streaming via mobile router,  not a single disconnect.  Will check it out further to exclude coincidence but wanted to share early on, maybe it helps someone ;-)

I suppose you mean the stock recovery, not the full rom! ;)

By the way, what were the outputs of the shell command you had input?

Hi @vonkarayan

Yes, just the stock rom. Reboot took longer than usual that's why I thought it was restoring the stock rom.

Didn't get any outputs from the commands, it just accepted them (I'm assuming....always dangerous) and returned to the # command prompt.

Should there have been??

Yes, there should´ve been a feedback á la "Recovery written sucessfully" or similiar. You can try if it´s installed by booting up while holding the volume+ - key and power pressed.

If not, why don´t you try the new method of admin linked above? Maybe that works more flawless for you.

Succeeded using the RK Flash Tool and flashed the image to the partition direct. Done my first backup so feel much better lol

Good for you :)

On the WLAN-thingy: If someone with disconnects on a particular router may test if Regpo Wifi Keepalive helps, I´d be quite thankful :) Did another 1-hour-test today, looking good so far.

hey,

I have been using Regpo Wifi Keepalive for 3 days now and it works for sure. But it consumes a lot of battery so beware.

I've never had any wifi problems with this router, regardless of the ROM being used.

Absolutely NONE problems here with WiFi!

I set it to sleep...and when I wake it...it reconnects...ALWAYS!

My router is a FritzBox 7390.

Only thing is the joke of a performance that Wifi has....I think it is the reception...700kb/sek from my Synology DS1512+ is not really fast...

My "old" Note1 is 100-150Kb/sek faster at the same spot and same file.

Ok, another 3 hours of streaming with the zte device and wifikeepalive, all's fine.

Thanks for sharing,  ebeb2,so the app seems to fix wifi disconnects.  Though I have to say, they're not affecting everyday use anyways as reconnects are fast, it's only streaming video. Didn't check throughput so far cause my old fritzbox sucks at wifi.

Overall, this beta is promising. Give us a new one, Cube :-)

Edit: @strafigo86: Indeed, which video?

Hello,   i have flashed the 4.2.2 beta too.  Nerly everything is working fine.  But yesterday i have noticed,  that my interlocutor get an still picture by skyping with the frontcamera.  With the backcamera everything is working fine.  Has anyone of you the same problem.?
