Doesnt the CUBE U30GT 2 charge the battery from the usb port to usb on a pc etc ?

I dont think it does !

Thats kinda one big point against it if it doesnt, isnt it ?

Its a pain having to charge using the mains charger every time, especially when it seems like the mains charger supplied has been reported with some people including myself to effect the touchscreen whilst charging, so in theory we need to buy a new charger, thats bad man :(

Out of curiosity, could anyone that has bought a replacement mains charger that works perfect with touchscreen whilst charging please post a message up and show us the model or link or of the charger so that we can buy one, thanks :)

p.s

for starters heres one that user "sirdogg8u" said earlier worked fine >>  http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/330857089981?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

Although he did quickly admit that the guy on ebay had messed the price up, he said it costs less than £10 !

Cube u30gt2 doesn't support charging from USB, it would be great if there was a work around but I would imagine its a hardware thing

Just become interested in charging from USB, as I plan to take a train journey in a couple of weeks time, and figured it'd be a great Cube road test. The trains have USB chargers *and* mains plugs (this is the UK). I could take the 12V mains charger supplied with the Cube, but that looks a bit Heath-Robinson, since it needs an adapter.

Now I could splash out on http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/400551124356?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 - assuming they supply what's pictured. However the alternative would be if the Cube could be USB charged.

Does anyone know if it's possible the non charging USB is a firmware feature, or does the Cube simply not have the necessary electronics ?
