Just a little question, is it possible to format the internal SD card in ext4 with the CWM ?

I would like to copy file greater than 4G on it.

Thanks.

Thank you guys for offering to help with testing.

Currently a little busy, I'm a lit late on this project but I'll let you know when something is ready.

Cheers.

Hmmh...bringing the tablet into recovery is no problem....I had a effing hard time to get it into flash mode.

I was almost giving up, but then did use the switch option in rockchip tool which works for me.

But anyway...so why do you just go and get an app for that???

It so much easier than using the side buttons!!!

I just can't install it :(

when i try to click switch it says:

what can i do?

hi yoavst,

If the RKAndroidTool says "Found RKAndroid Loader Rock usb" then the only things you need to do next are:

1. Press the "Erase IDB" button, and let the process finish, then;

2. Press the "Run" button, and CWM Recovery will be flashed to your tablet.

For me, though, I haven't been able to reboot into CWM Recovery without a rebooter tool (which runs in Android system, such as the one in tha app ROM Toolbox Lite > Rebooter > Reboot to Recovery)

I have a question about removing CWM Recovery, if I decide to "return it to stock" to gift or sell it later...

I have No Idea how to remove CWM Recovery for a Rockchip device, or for the U30GT2...

All the sites that I see anything for about removing CWM (or TWRP) Recovery state you need an image of the original recovery, but they all flash with ODIN (for Samsung devices) in those threads...

Does anyone know how to do it for the U30GT2 with Rockchip tools?? I could really use the help.

Thanks

Just flash a stock firmware of Your choiche with Rockchip Tools choosing RESTORE option.

That's all.

Is there any progress on the tool because I have not been able to load CWM for the last few ROMs and it's bugging me!

I've used the same program and even tried side loading via terminal.

There has been a lot to do with other firmwares/devices lately, but CWM support in ArcTools is still in the plans and will hopefully be done in the coming weeks, as free time permits. I'll post updates for the testers when something is ready to try.

Cheers.

Have you tested it? Does it work?

Have you used the Windows explorer tool to do that?
