Try a charger with the same amperage and voltage output but from a more reliable producer.

Hello again,i just said use another charger, if you want to keep it safe, you can try with a charger that has a lower amperage then the stock one, using this method the tablet will charge more longer but it will be safer.
I am using on my Archos 101 Xs, a charger that has a lower amperage but the same voltage, only because the stock one it does not work at all, the tablet is ok, with a battery lifetime of 6-7 hours in youtube/browsing

It's same to use 2A or 10A charger, tablet only uses what it needs, about 1.1 - 1.5A when charging. Only what really matters is voltage. It MUST BE 12V! But charger change really solves this screen touch problem. I personally use 12V 5A charger.
