Hello folks, may I ask for such manual how to root this device? I am beginner in this, but I have rooted my phone without problem, but it was according manual how to step by step, I don't know how to root this tablet.

Can someone write step by step manual? or where I can find it?

Even how do I know if I have W or H version? what is the difference between those?

Thank you very much

Some google search should give you this guide which looks a quite OK procedure, or you can use a custom firmware such as the one available in our forum which comes already rooted.

From what I remember (my Cube U30GT-H is broken at the moment) you should know which Cube U30GT version you have by looking in the Settings / About tablet, the full model name should be listed there. The H version is newer and has some minor changes in hardware that make it incompatible with W version.

Cheers.

i don`t think the cube tablets have bootloaders.

Usually the bootloaders are only on qualcomm, samsung, nvidia bassed products.

The guide I mentioned in Post #2 should really help, you'll just need some spend some time understand the terminology and trying to figure things out.

In addition we also have a guide for ADB setup here: http://www.arctablet.com/blog/devices/arnova/adb-and-fastboot-tutorial/

You'll just need to stop when you get "adb devices" command working, as, like globula commented, there is no fastboot on the Cube.

Cheers.

I will try to do it and then let you know ... but later in November, because I left the tablet home, I am traveling now (business) so don't have it with me. At least I have something to study around :)

Thank you very much, will return here and write comments, maybe they will help someone like me :)

Hi,

can anyone confirm that some method of rooting (without data sweep) is valid and fully working for U30GT-H?

Btw. I have found this method http://tabletrepublic.com/forum/opinions-on-teclast-p90hdclast-a10-dual-core/how-root-teclast-a10-dual-core-2491.html using ZhuoDaShi, whixh looks very promising.

Thank you for any help.
