Anyone else fed up with breaking the power button?
I've got 2 relatively new cubes, one has lost all detent and sits under the bezel.... must have long fingernails to turn on/off.
The other was pushed too hard and broke the switch entirely off the circuit board !
If I've had 2 from 2 fail this way, I wonder how many others and what the cube people should be doing?
comments appreciated.
Did you manage to keep those 2 tablets working, have you replaced the power switches somehow ?
I haven't used my U30GT-H for long (and it's already dead) but did not have any problem with the power button.
I don't know if a picture would speak by itself, but feel free to attach some in the forum so we can look at what you got...
Cheers.

Same here! Had one before Christmas which broke, same thing power button pushed all the way in and now my son's tablet has just suffered the same death.
Only solution at the moment is to plug in charger to wake the screen and then unlock it
Cube should be repairing this for free as it is obviously a manufacturing fault with the same thing happening to so many people.
Anyone been able to get it fixed or been able to find a replacement switch?

They are not hard to fix.
Pull it to bits down to the m/b.
Remove the original solder to allow the switch to site back in it's detent holes.
Resolder.
After this, i used a quick set araldite to secure the switch to the motherboard.
The reason for failure is that the push load goes straight to the soldered joints from switch to circuit board.
Using epoxy takes the load of the joints.
I gave up on a warranty claim 12 months ago.
The cubes are very poor quality but you can keep them going this way, including the dicky toggle volume switch etc where the small stick plastic spacers come adrift in the same area as the switch on the m/board.
If you don't wish to do this, I can fix but really don't think it'll be worthwhile re transport costs etc.
Otherwise you should find plenty people happy to purchase cheap including myself given not being that hard to fix.
good luck

ebellking are currently trading under HNN trading ltd and are in cardiff after moving from hull, i have the number but it just goes to an answer phone, I have contacted the manufactures in china antheyy will not send out a new pcb board either. Next hope is trading standards.
They should not be allowed to get away with this and have a uk repairer
