Hi there!  I'm a newbie here and also a total novice with a tablet.  Have just received the 32GB Cube which looks great but at present cannot connect to home wifi [appears to be quite an android problem, not only with Cube!].  Am going to take it round the family and try it out on their wifi's to see if my modem is incompatible.  Failing that, I may have to use a mobile dongle.  I have a 3 dongle that has been used on occasions with netbook when in areas where wifi was not available, and thought of using this but find I cannot fit it into the supposed USB slot; am I missing something, or do I need some kind of adaptor or even a different updated dongle?  The slot on the table has rounded corners so obviously a standard USB won't fit.  Have not seen anyone else talking about this, although lots of people seem to be using mobile dongles.

If there are any techies out there who can put me out of my misery, would be more than grateful!!

Many thanks

Try to change the transmission channel and also change the encryption to wpa2
you may have also activated on a rooted an option which will grant access only to some certain mac address's

The following users say thank you to globula_neagra for this useful post:

Thank you - but change the transmission channel on the device, or modem? sorry to seem stupid but this is not clear to me.  Not sure what the encryption is - I think it says WPA/WPA2?
