Again I would like to clarify how to find the S/N..Hold your tablet horizontally with your 2nd camera at the top,tilt the tablet in the direction so that the screen will face up,at the bottom of the tablet(not rear,the part directly pointing at you),you should see the S/N..

No, you were perfectly clear and I confirm you : no S/N on the tablet. No text, logo or anything else anywhere either.

Edit : looks like Cube makes OEM versions of the tab (like for Pandawill), without S/N or logos.

That's rather strange.If it is an OEM version,it really doesn't make any sense that the camera module would not respond..

Agreed, this seems strange since the beginning. Cube Mini and no Cube Mini at the same time

Maybe this is a clone version with a different hardware for the camera... which may explain why U30GT-Mini firmwares don't detect and activate it.

With firmware 1.05 published in post #1, the camera is working fine on a regular CUBE U30GT-MINI device.

I have just published a custom firmware for the Cube U30GTMINI-MS (version 1.04 released on 2013/02/01) It is a a slightly different device than the older Cube U30GT-MINI, maybe this firmware will help those with camera issues, if the device they own is a Cube U30GTMINI-MS.

I don't know how to identify the exact model, maybe with the serial number on the back, or in the Settings / About tablet build number information, if the device still has the stock firmware and hasn't yet been flashed.

Does anyone here having troubles using the HDMI port? Tried mine with an adapter to regular HDMI but with no result..Might be that the adapter is broken but I'd like to confirm no software issue.

my first flashing with my first android tablet. went out great. just that i was abit puzzled at first on how to get the proper sequence in flashing mode on the tablet (always end up in restore mode).

for the custom rom, all runs great, lean, everything works, though there was a google play 491 error i got but a quick delete/restart and adding back the account fixed it.

I just downloaded the the update.img and installed it on my cube mini tablet just now. Everything looks fine, but I noticed there's sync problem happen to my tablet, the exhange service keep force closed and i can't even launch the google drive app. Does anyone get this trouble too?
