As I thought you are not selection the correct driver plus Not installing it the correct way, when you plug the U30GT hoding the Power/+ keys for a few seconds, from the Cube OFF state, in Windows will find a New Device you the point it to the driver for the Win that you are using..

IT NOT A ADB DRIVER AT ALL. Plus turn off the USB setting in SETTINGS.

So what you mean is that to root this device the only option is to flash a pre-rooted ROM? I cannot use ADB?

You seem to have the model with the wifi problems. Latest models of the cube have flawless wifi.

Flashplayer does not work without manual replacement of it. There seems to be issues with the version admin uses while image building.

Somewhere in this forums is described how to replace. When i remember rigth u need to deletethe flashplayer folder in system/app or data/app ull find the flashplayer folder just in one of the mentioned paths. Just delete it, restart ur device and install flashplayer new.

You do not use ADB just to flash IMG Roms, Please go read some Flashing info there is nothing at all to do with a Pre-rooted Rom.

I have tried this firmware now and can say it's really buggy. Wifi does not work, flashplayer is not installed. In metro when you install new apps they don't show up on "desktop". You have to search for them in the google up to the left. Will revert to an older version for now

For me all works fine. Wifi get 20-30 mbits speed. I have one question, it is possible to modifi this firmware to get bigger scale to change brightness? Because difference betveen 0 and 100 is so small. If you are in the darkness, 0 brightness is so briht, it should be much more darker. Thanks.

Been using this firmware since the last 2 weeks. All seems fine. I love the minimal stuff installed. I want to be able to install what I want and not what is imposed. Keep up the good work!

Try using a Down Load Manager like the free DLM

You can follow Bigben's suggestion.

As I already mentioned in the forum, I am planning to add resume support in the download section.

We are also thinking about deploying an extra mirror but we need more data to find a good hosting location/peering.
