Hi all!
I flash this firmware on my Shiru Shogun 10 (cube u30gt clone). I want to change splash screen. How can i do this? Maybe someone pack update.img with that splash screen http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/687/71442073.jpg/?

olanda1970I don't think there are "automatic" tools currently available to change boot image logo, it requires a little knowledge to extract, change and repack the firmware parts of a firmware image.
You can get some pointers here, but it's very incomplete for what you want to do.

A few months ago, we built a firmware kitchen to automate the process, but we've currently closed it. We'll probably add support for Cube and Rockchip RK30xx based devices when we reopen it.
Cheers.

If you're looking to integrate this into your ROM, just drop bootanimation.zip it into /system/media (without unzipping it).
Or alternatively data/local (without unzipping it)
I use root browser lite to do this and copy it from sdcard.
This article has a few great bootanimations and instructions

admin, grzes_r07, olanda1970, k15hncunning tip works for the boot animation, but the initial boot logo (the one that shows for the first second or so after bootup) edit needs to be done in the boot.img and kernel.img parts of the firmware.

I assume as we do not yet have access to the source code that this isn't something we are able to do?
Or can the ROM developers out there do some wizardry by splitting up the latest firmware?(I see you above Post covers this)
