Here is a rooted custom firmware based on latest Cube U20GT-WSÂ official update 2.03 dated 2013/02/26Â (U20GT-WS_v2.03_20130226.zip)
Build info:

Rooted Custom firmware features:
- root with SuperSU version 1.25 (free version)
- writable /system partition
- removed most Chinese and unnecessary applications
- increased space for application (/data partition) to 2 Gb.
- included hackerskeyboard (a 5-row keyboard using full PC key layout) as this Cube update probably has regular non Chinese keyboard removed
Rooted custom firmware for the CUBE U20GT-WS: kasty-cube_u20gtws-41-203-rooted.zip
Using Rockchip Batch Tool version 1.5 to flash the firmware.
This firmware is made for the Cube U20GT-WS, I don't know if it works on other models such as the older Cube U20GT or U20GTS.

Please report any problem with this firmware, I can't verify if this custom firmware works properly as I don't own a Cube U20GT-WS Â to test it.

Hello, This is my first firmware change.
I tried to install it but reboot does not work. There is arctablet logo, then the cube and nothing else ...
So I installed the latest original firmware and it works.
note: now I can not to switch to recovery mode (?)

Has anybody tried this firmware?
It´s important to know if there are g-sensor or wifi issues.

I have tested in my U20GT.
Boot's correctly and fast, but WIFI doesn't works  and G-Sensor only work's well after a calibration with the tool.
You can fix the wifi?

i tryed "kasty-cube_u20gtws-41-202-rooted" . i will try 203 in a few minuts.
edit2: same problem with 203. no wifi.

The SuperSU updated to V1.86 and wants to update the Binary. When i click update....it wont do that...and there is no recovery on this version of the ROM (if i'm correct).
How do i update the Binary then ????
