Cube has just released an Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for the Cube U20GT.

This is a major upgrade to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, Google Translation of Cube version history says this firmware changed the following:

Updated to Android 4.1 system;
aging game crashes to amend the part of the machine;
awakened not some machine screensavers.

Here is our custom rooted firmware version of the Android 4.1 JB based on official Cube version 2.00

Features:

- root with SuperSU version 0.96 (free version)

- writable /system partition

- removed most Chinese and unnecessary applications

- increased space for application (/data partition) to 2 Gb.

Using [[** please register to see this link **]] version 1.5 to flash the firmware.

Please report any problem with this firmware, I can't verify if this custom firmware works properly as I don't own a Cube U20GT  to test it.

I've uninstall the 5 chinese apps that were still on the OS…  Can you tell me why you let them there ?  For chinese user i guess?

Not really, it's probably a miss during the apps cleanup when building the custom firmware. This is be corrected in next firmware release.
