Maybe you can try to flash the U18GT2 firmware, and see if it has the same problems. If so, it might be a hardware failure. (But at least the touchscreen won't work probably, you can use your mouse)

hi to all
firmware for u18gt-2 are not working on u18gt-s, i've tested several like "tnt" firmare but it doesn't work...
my u18gt-s is turning now with "U18GT-S_V1.04_20130307.img" and i've got also the restart problem.
i've tried to root my u18gt-s (for uninstall chineese apps) but i can't : i use superonclick and unlock root, both software do the root without error, but when i check the tablet (with root checker for example) it's not rooted...
can you help me ?

Hello to all,
I've just received new U18GT-S 8GB with firmware version: V1.04-20130306.
In two days that I have tested, there were 2-3 restarts (not too much important) - but I have one strange problem:
- The battery is showing 100% all the time, I have tried also some apps for battery but the same case.
Anybody with some opinion?
