Hey,
I'm enjoying this new firmware. But seems it can work even better. Just want make an experiment:
I'm used "rkpatchomatic-master" tool to overclock original kernel. But when I flash it, always stuck in bootloader.
Any option to flash and run overclocked kernel?

Ivan

The CPU is specified for 1.8 GHz. Typically limited in the kernel by the tab manufactures to 1.6 GHz. In some case to 1.4 GHz (RK3188T). That meets our experience that the hardware is likely instable above these limits.
However, normal CPU usage is only two steps: 312 and 816 MHz (see pic 1). An Antutu run of 3 mins shows a high CPU usage only while running the grafic benchmarks (pic 2). So with overclocking you will only "improve" benchmarks. Maybe you will get a better UI feeling when only overclock the GPU.
Tools like the one you mentioned patches the frequence tables bitwise, means overwrite a lower frequenz with a higher one. No way to enlarge the tables. Kernel sources for a real working overclock are not available.
