I guess the tab has su access via adb. So ask an other user to dump the images.

There's no su on this Tablet. But i got your CM10.1 installed on it, its booting with the Chuwi v88 kernel#160 and is usable, but no Display on the Tablet only via HDMI on TV. I tried some Kernels from your Archive but no luck getting the Screen, Wifi, Sensor to work. The Lcd- Chip is an Himax8826, Wifi+Bluetooth AP6210.
I'm trying to compile a Kernel myself, but i don't have Sources for the Himax Chip.

Ok, then we have to root the tab first.
Here is a tool incl. root script: http://crewrktablets.arctablet.com/?wpfb_dl=677
Or use arctools to install CWM: http://www.arctablet.com/blog/forum/arctools-application/clockworkmod-cwm-recovery-easy-install-on-rk3066-and-rk3188-devices/

@oma:
Many thanks for your quick help ! I'll test your Kernel imediatly.
Ok, i installed your kernel an everything is working but the touchscreen isn't working correct. If i swipe up or down the screen is scolling left or right. I tried your cm10 sensor fixes but they make no difference. I use the Tablet with a mouse in this moment, all other things are working ok. Are there any other sensor fixes i haven't found on your site ?
Btw: The Kernel seems to be the Stock- Kernel of the Odys Xelio 10 Extreme, do you also have the complete Stock-firmware of this Tablet and can you share it with us ?

Hi franky284 and oma,
I just got a Odys Xelio 10 Extreme yesterday and could not wait playing with it and oma's great custom roms...
...well, I get any rk31 rom flashed (after replacing with the right kernel) and running, but always without wifi
Anyone of you got a solution for this? Maybe copying/flashing some files from the original firmware or so could do the trick?
I'd be happy with anything from stock-rom+root up to CM10.1 or any newer custom rom. I just need root and wifi working, plzzz
thx for your great help in advance,
chrikru

I got the stock rom rooted with this chinese software:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/j3smfwb5jaafqd3/VRoot_1.7.2.4200_Setup.exe
it installs also a chinese superuser-app, but if you install supersu afterwards you can remove this chinese app inside supersu and all is working OK for me.
But if you like to stay on a custom rom, copying the modules and firmware files from the stock-rom should make wifi working.

Many thx for the quick answer:)
The question is:
How do I get back to stock-rom first? I don't have any backup or so:S Just the firmware, and the partition-backups that you requested in a different forum and got from someone else. Is this all I need? How do I get my xelio back to stock-rom?
If I managed this, I will be glad to try to root the stock-rom and play with it:)
For using a custom-rom, I lack the knowledge, which modules and firmware files from stock rom I would need to copy where and how...but this is not important to me at the moment.
Vielen herzlichen Dank für die schnelle Antwort, franky

Try to copy this: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/e2c1aldamt04juq/3x1SGZxGYS to the right folders. It should be self explaining. But your Tablet needs to be rooted first. And you must use an App like Rootexplorer or
ES DateiManager to mount the filesystem rw.
Good luck
Or if you have a Linux System install rkflaskit on it, and write the boot, kernel, misc, recovery and system files from the romdump back to the Tablet, this worked for me to restore the Stock-ROM. But i can give no garantie, try at your own risk.

Copying the files to the different folders did not work:(
I even checked file rights, dmesg and logcat, but nothing really changed. I also tried to remove some "wrong" kernel-modules and to load different wifi-modules manually, also without any success.
I also copied some files from the firmware (which included a ar600.ko), no success either.
So I will go back to stock-rom now with rkflashkit and try from there. Maybe I can identify the right modules and files, which are missing for the custom-roms then:)
Just to make sure: With romdump you mean the backup, which the user hiasl provided in http://www.android-hilfe.de/odys-forum/493328-odys-xelio-10-extreme-quad-2-gb-ram-16-gb-4.html , right?

Yes, thats right.
Btw, i mean the Pipo_M8_Pro_wifi_RileyROM_2.1.zip from Freaktab-Forum worked on my ODYS xelio 10 extreme with the Stock-Kernel. I mean you have to replace the Kernel in this Rom with the one from here: http://crewrktablets.arctablet.com/?wpfb_dl=1246 .

The Pipo_M8_Pro_wifi_RileyROM_2.1.2 worked perfectly and directly, many thx:):)
I will try to analyze, where's there difference in wifi-drivers/configuration to the other custom roms...when I got healthy again and find time.
Maybe I can help, to also make other custom roms work on the odys xelio extreme 10 pro, maybe there might be a model-fix for this tablet one day;)
Thank you again for your great and instant help, franky384.
