Can you pls upload the kernel here (link above needs key)? Many thanks!

Yo Oma:

Tried the Omni build several times, with the first kernel (JB release).  Tried with several different options ( 160 dpi, wifi 8723, and etc.)  Took nand down to nothing this am and tried again. no luck, really would like to see Omni.  Will look into some more.  Any suggestions, got time and like to play.  I can not get boot, no cwm from the Omni rom, no matter how set up, could be me.  Have not changed to radxa parameters, will try that next and use the 1st gen build specific to radxa.  If I can get to run, will notify you of how.

PS Understand that Astralix really has high praise for Omni, got to see why.

Did this, when going back to Androidtool 1.37, untick loader, erase IDB problem is here for some reason IDB is listed as being (2048) not (4096).  Could this be my problem.

PS Oma 4.2.2 with same kernel, boot loader 1.24 loads with no problem ?

RADXA OMNI

Oma tried  loading Omni again after loading 4.2.2 Oma with same JB Kernel.  Omni would not boot with the 1.24 loader already in nand and running 4.2.2.  Took the Dev.img files and loaded the Omni images to files of the working 4.2.2 - 1.37 androidtool and deleted the v1.20 bootloader.  Reloaded got boot and program running in a 480 resolution and android system.mui.com error.  Close but no workable program.  Really close will play some more and let you know if I succeed.

The FC most likely comes from the JB data partition. Do a factory reset. Build should boot with HDMI on.

Tried, I do not think it will run.  Hdmi is running just in a resolution not workable.  Absolutely no way to get to any kind of tool bar, BT error also along with system.ui.  The wifi and Ethernet  are not being initiated.  I have loaded with 3 different file system set ups.  2 cause Omni to blink and waggle in boot loop with one of these boot loops ending in a hard shut down after several minutes.  The 3rd with the Omni build used with the JB Radxa 4.2.2 config and parameters end with the bt, system.ui, and tool bar issues.  Boot loader installed via the RKTools fix and also a Linux lower format utility.  Sorry, would like to know if anyone has succeeded in loading Omni.  The grand baby loves the Omni bootloop and android waggle though, that alone is worth the effort.

Haven't given up yet.  Could the problem be Bootloader?  v1.24 writes idb @ 2048, v1.20 writes idb @ 4096.  Tried to load with v1.20 but could not get it recognized in androidtools v1.37.   CONFIG file issue ??

Here is some background to the loader issue: http://www.arctablet.com/blog/forum/firmware-flashing-on-rockchip-based-devices/downgrading-android-44-firmware-to-android-43-earlier-rockchip-based-devices/

One question, I need to be in Maskrom to install in androidtools v1.37 ?  Also something mentioned about a switch tick ?

To change the loader on the NAND it is necessary to start the tab in mask-rom (internal loader).

Load the loader into the DevelopTool. Then erase IDB Block and erase All Blocks. Now download the loader.

Next step is the normal procedure with RKAndroidTool or RKBatchTool.

I recommend this "NAND Refresh" in both directions, means changing from a loader gen 1 build (loader v1.24) to gen 2 build (loader 2.10 or later) and vice versa.

I have my radxa bricked at the moment, not a problem just need to find my magnifying glass, grand babies probably out in the yard burning ants with it.  This way it definitely will be erased and masked to start.  I have been checking nand after flashing with v1.37 with Linux RKFlash tool and the parameter list for partitioning nand and address is not there.  Maybe after a nand reset to 0 and fresh start it will work.   Will unbrick and try again here after my am coffee.  Will let you know, shortly.
