Great ROM, but I have 75% battery drain on "Cell Standby". My Pipo M6pro doesn't have a SIM card slot so the problem is mainly on the kernel side. Since I can't compile JB kernel for my M6 pro  I'm requesting help to modify the ROM / erase the files responsible for drain on my tablet. Could somebody tell me which file to remove to stop the drain?

Hi,
I'm trying to flash this rom on my BQ Curie 2 QC.
The flashing progress ends without any problem and the tablet restarts in recovery mode as espected.
The problem comes when I try to flash the zip fixes (model_fix, 160dpi and rotation_fix). I can't search the zip file, the recovery (clockworkmod) throws this error: "can't mout /sdcard/"
Any clue to solve this?
Tx!!!
PS: On RKAndroidTool I'm just changing the parameter file with the one for 16GB and the kernel file with the JB kernel for my tablet.

solved using an external sdcard.

Hallo zusammen,

kann ich dieses rom für ein Odys Xelio 10 Extreme benutzen oder ist das

Odys Iron OmniRom 4.4.4 rom das letzte, welches als "funktioniert" bekannt ist und ich nutzen sollte?

Can i use this rom for a Odys Xelio 10 Extreme or should i use the Odys Iron OmniRom 4.4.4 rom, because its the last stable one for this tablet?

Cheers Semnone

I think that you have to try is your kernel compatible with those 2 roms and report back which was ok and which didn't.

I have bought a broken visture which i plan or to use stationary as hdmi stick or to upgrade it 5.1.1 and intergrate it in a in car entertainment diy system.

i have read that v88 is ok for v97hd I think that i have read that lollipop i also compatible but may experience touch lag so its up to you to test and make your notice which is best for your needs

V97HD its clone of N90FHDRK but we have unfixable issue with wifi + random reboots + broken video recording.

All i know is, that the OmniROM 4.4.4 v1.4.1 has a confirmed installation on the Odys Xelio 10 Extreme. --> See here

I can test this on my tablet next weekend, but i think it must work. I hope so. 😉

But i don't want to test the Odys Iron CM12.1 LP 5.1.1 on my tablet until i know it works or i know that there are problems. I dont want to brick it.

How can i check a kernel without a chance to brick my tablet? Is there save way?

An answer from Oma7144 would be great. 😉

I just installed Android 5.1 on an RK3188 tablet of unknown vendor, OMA helped me identifying as an Vido M10 AZ clone.

Used stuff:
- CrewRKTablets_Odys_Iron_CM12.1_LP_5.1.1_v1.1- RK31_kernel_3036_hr_m10_vido_2
- CrewRKTablets_RK31_LP_5.0_v1.0_parameter_dynamic

faults:
no USB-Hub
no Audio (USB-Audio via USB-OTG only)
no Bluetooth

Model fault or kernel fault?

MP4 videos with AC3/DTS audio strems cannot be played, no probs for corresponding MKVs.

Add more codecs (3gp, avi, wmv, flv) - install via CWM: http://crewrktablets.arctablet.com/?wpfb_dl=2775

No codecs, containers only 😉

When OmniRom is confirmed working then the LP build will also boot on the given kernel.

I found aLogCatRoot, I did some saves with it, maybe it helps you.

When I try to make a fast reboot the system tries to start but instead of morphing android's head into a ball it crashes to a bllach screen.
Pressing the power button results in a very very small pic in the middle of the screen.
Same behavior when trying to reboot to "bootloader".
"Charging" pic added.

I also made a fresh dmesg after such a crash.PICT0106.JPGImage Enlarger

You mean the kernel from the LP Build or the kernel from the OmniRom? Because for the OmniRom i have to change the Kernel first. Can i use the kernel from the LP Build or must i change the Kernel in the
ockdev\Image folder with this one: RK31_kernel_3036_xelio 10 extreme_odys?

After flashing this Build i have to install the 160 dpi fix, right?

Can i use opengapps or are there any known problems with the different variants?

Yes, this is the Xelio 10 Extreme stock kernel. We do only have that binary. The 160dpi fix is also needed. The build does include gapps.
