I tried to flash the rom to my Nextbook 8 Quad Core NX785QC8G 7.85" tablet using RKBatch tool v1.7 but i had to first get into bootloader mode with cydia impactor in order for it to recognize my tablet. I first tested another Rom which bricked my device but was able to quickly restore with a KitKat 4.4.2 stock rom I had downloaded. When I tried loading your file I got an error message which said "failed to load firmware" any suggestions

ok I'm a noob at this, so I tried it again...carefully reading your instructions posted elsewhere after several attempts I successfully flashed my Nextbook 8 7.85" on KitKat 4.4.2 with v.1 two draw backs..no wifi and my model came up as a Nexus. couldn't leave well enough alone so I started over and ErasedIDB as well as flashed the Kernel you provided but this time using v.2 and when the tablet rebooted into recovery, I wiped the cache and data under advanced options. It gave me a choice to disable flash recovery and I chose yes. on the following page it gave me a choice to fix ROOT access and I choice yes. on reboot its looping at the OMA screen...what did I do wrong?

Download the pack from post #1. Instructions are included. Flash again incl. eraseIDB. Let the stock recovery format the user partitions. Later you can flash the CWM (both answers are NO).

Update post #1 with build v2.1.
The tabs bottleneck is the 8 GB NAND. So, I changed the mount points which will make up to 32 GB space available for apps and app data. The internal storage is now 4 GB. Also I touched the footprint of the build to make it wide compatible for apps in the Play Store.
