Works still fine on my tab. Not really an idea.

Do a clean install again and if the effect is still there change the wifi driver:

Really quick question hopefully. I seem to have the same problem with WIFI.

How do I go about installing these? Do I just copy the files within the zip to the relevant paths on the tablet?

Thanks as well for this ROM. My tablet has been "unloved" for a long time, it was so slow making it unusable unless you had a lot of time to wait for it to boot up and get ready. This ROM makes it very usable.

Tony.

Put them on the external sdcard and reboot into the CWM recovery. Then install fix from external sdcard.

Many thanks. The first file fixed the wireless speeds for me. I did have another problem where it would not connect to a certain access point, I'll test that later when I get home.

I also tried to encrypt the tablet, but it failed (luckily I had done a backup from within CWM). Should encryption work?

I never used encryption on one of my tabs. I see however no reason why that should not work.

Thanks again. I'll give it another go later on.

I'm still having some WIFI issues. It can see the router, and starts connecting, but then fails at the authentication stage. All other devices in the house work fine with the router. Any suggestions?

Is there a more up to date wifi driver for this tablet?

I find I can get it to connect to the router if I reboot, but as soon as I go to a different network, I can no longer re-connect to the original router unless I reboot. Does that make sense? If I disable the wifi and re-enable it, same again, it cannot connect. In all cases, it can still see the router, just not connect.

The router is a TP-Link Archer C8, so fairly recent. None of the other devices have trouble, just the Ceros.
