Now WIFI is working, BT is working, paring etc...   Still struggling for camera, now, after my playing with modules and init.rc cameras show just noisy crappy mess... In addition I've found that under Kitkat my tablet continuously mounts/umounts mtd-6, mtd-8 and /data/sec partitions.. On original 4.2.2 all good.

Which rom do you use?

Hello Oma,

glad to meet you again :)

I've worked with one of your ROMs, "aoc-q70s15".

Interessting. The AOC build is for RK903 wifi. Unfortunately I cannot found the problem, why it disables wifi after it starts successfully.

Your tab has AP6210 wifi, right? Could you pls share if you have done more then editing the init?

hmm...

if even AOC designed for RK903, I believe the WIFI/BT driver itself is built-in in my kernel. At least I cannot see any additional specific modules it uses, rather than rkwifi.ko.

Yes, this tablet has AP6210, and I did nothing with the system parts at all, just edited init scripts, as I've noticed that all my WIFI and BT problems were because of wrong permissions and wrong supplicant settings (for WIFI).

Thank you ELIAS!

A guy on xda tested the aoc-q70s15 build on his AOC tab together with your boot.img - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=52945876&postcount=1728

The BCM4330 combi-chip is running, BT is working but wifi not.

@Rock293031 this could be caused by a missing firmware.

Dear Oma, Dear ELIAS,

thanks a milliion. With the modified boot.img my RK903 WIFI and BT work both immediately.

I will have to apply this to another build since i am getting multiple FCs at start with the AOC-ROM.

But the ROM with WIFI and BT works great once the FCs are confirmed.

Last thing i need to get sorted are the HW-Overlays. I have to disable them otherwise my screen is permanently flickering.

Thanks again a lot!!!

(You) Rock

Bad news...

Yesterday I've returned my Bauhn to Aldi for full refund.

The reason is beyond any ROM. I just tired of slow WiFi and too grainy screen.

Now got Lenovo Yoga 8, much much better.

Anyway, all files for bauhn still on my HDD, in case of anybody will need it.

Thanks.

Hi All,

i flashed the AOC-build again to my RK3066 imuz TX12D and now i dont have any FCs anymore.

After updating the Text-to-Speech engine (pico.tts) from Playstore nothing bad happened anymore.

- Wifi/BT works fine and both connect and transfer with full speed.

- HDMI works fine

- ~14.000 Antutus with Performance Govenor / ~12.000 in Interactive Mode

Oma, can i ask you again for help please.

- Bootanim and camera are -90° (gegen den Uhrzeiger) after changing the build.prop to 270 to get correct display rotation.

- HW-Overlays. This is the only really painful point ;) Even when connected to HDMI the TV-screen flickers.

Can i do something to support to get a fix for these 2 things.

Thanks a million for this. This is the first KitKat running on my devices.

@ELIAS. Thank you so much for pointing us into the correct direction to get the good old RK903 WIFI/BT chip running. And many thanks for your boot.img. Too bad you had to return your tab to Aldi. But i know how frustrating slow Wifi can be. Hope you get lots of fun with your new Lenovo.

Cheers, Rock

RK31 kernel will handle the sensor event and the mali driver in another way. To correct this we need the kernel souces of the tab.

Thanks Oma for your reply about the screen flickering.

I think that it is nearly impossible to get the original kernel-source.

Anyway thanks for all you have done.

P.S. I have not de-activated auto-updates from Playstore. After todays update of some gapps the tab doesnt boot anymore and needs to be restored in recovery. This is reproduceable.
