Kernel #351, this is a 2nd gen V88 - right?Maybe the sensor is build in in another direction. Unbelievable.

I don't think so. Before I flashed your OMA Android 4.4.2 rom, I had your Android 4.2.2 multi window rom running. In both cases I use the same kernel (the only one, that works with my device version).
- In the multi window version the rotation setting was automatically set to landscape mode. Automatic screen rotation was not possible.
- In the 4.4.2 version the rotation setting is automatically set to portrait mode and the automatic screen rotation function is immediatly switched back to manual.
I am using the Xposed framework and the XPrivacy module. But even if I deactivate the XPrivacy module, to prevent sensor blocking, the screen orientation is set to portrait mode. That doesn't seem to be the problem.
- Yes, the kernel #351 is for second generation Chuwi V88.

I have tried to flash "Oma_RK31_Chuwi_V88_CM10.1_4.2.2_v1.3.2a" with this kernel into the U6 and it booted successfully without turning the wifi&bluetooth on .And it would do the factory reset once you reboot the device.
Hm, what's wrong with this kernel?
Anyway, you will need a build with RTL8723 wifi-chip. Can you pls try this? http://crewrktablets.arctablet.com/?p=2982

Thank you for the screen rotation patch. I flashed your ZIP. Unfortunately, when auto rotation is activated, the screen flips 90° counter clockwise. When I hold device in landscape position, the screen rotates to portrait (-90°). When I hold the device in portrait position, the screen rotates -90° to landscape. My device seems to have humor and act in fools mode. Do you have an idea?

Kernel #351 was the first kernel for the 2nd gen. Maybe this is the key. What is or is not with later kernel?

Once again you hit the high score! You are right about the kernel. The newer kernel version #391 fixes the forced portrait mode. Should I update the kernel to even newer version (e.g. #427)?
The only thing that has to be fixed now, is to restore the previous rotation definition. The fix you send me in post #89:
Can you pls test http://crewrktablets.arctablet.com/?wpfb_dl=1560

has to be substituted by the original setting. Can I restore the former setup by flashing the system image only? Or do I need a reversal fixture from you? Thank you three hundred time for your help!

Sorry, that was tremendous unqualified by me! I can modify the build.prop file in your zipped fix patch by myself and flash it once again. Was it the parameter ro.sf.hwrotation in the build.prop file, which you did modify? Sorry, but I am an absolute noob. Was it set on -90 originally? That's what I can suggest from Rock 293031 post #35.

Standard orientation is 180. But you can just flash the system.img.

pminau141 said Silly goose, me. Help! I got too ambitious and used a ROM toolbox to make a change to dpi of the screen, which locked me out of the boot process. Now I can't get past a certain point where "com.android.systemui" quits repeatedly, as soon as you touch the OK, not allowing the boot to go any further. In fact, even that screen is in German now, not English....
Have you ever enable the usb debug? If so,you can try to edit the build.prop via adb. And I suppose that your system is windows8.1 right?Try to disable one of the "usb root hub" and it may recognize ur tablet in bootloader mode.
UPDATE: I despaired a few times, but persisted. I tried allowing the battery to fully discharge, then recharging before booting. Then I painstakingly (and I do mean pain!), letter by letter, inserted the information needed before the sysyemui failure message. By that method, and rebooting time and time again, I eventually got to an opening screen, opened Pimp my ROM, and changed the density to the minimum 160 setting instead of the Nexus system. Finally, the systemui crashes stopped. I am now back to enjoying the speed and stability of KitKat.

Hello Oma!
I have a small question for you =)
Do you think that your KK rom for Prestigio MultiPad 4 Quantum 9.7 would work on the cube u9gtv as they are almost the same (cube has 16gb rom and 10000mAh battery).
cube u9gtv specs: http://pdadb.net/index.php?m=specs&id=4526&view=1&c=cube_u9gtv
Prestigio specs: http://www.gsmarena.com/prestigio_multipad_4_quantum_9_7-5655.php

Do a clean install incl. eraseIDB and make sure you use the format_NAND_KK.
What was the problems with auto-rotation in the multi-windows build?

i have do this
first step: erasel IDB
second: Run
third: if i want to flash the format_NAND, CWM says that can't mount anything
the problem of the windows edition is that will not rotate!

Interesting. We have 4 Iron's, which generates all the same results. What is your S/N?
Put the sd card into the tab before you start and try again.
