I broke the touchscreen of my Chuwi v88 (1st Gen) ... I bought on internet a touchscreen HY51042 for V88 (there are a lot on internet) but after I opened the tablet I saw that my Chuwi v88 use a model from topsun which is not easy to find and cost much more.
The touchscreen I bought is very close to my broken one, I can connect it to the tablet but it's not working.
The original chipset is GSL2680, in the input/touchscreen folder I see the driver: rockchip_gslX680
The chipset of the new touchscreen is CT362, in the input/touchscreen folder I see ct36x folder with drivers
Is there a way to activate ct36x driver instead of gsl2680, is there something to change in the ROM ?
I though I could use the "install from zip" functionality of CWM to modify the ROM as I don't have touchscreen anymore.
Thanks for your help,
Kernel sources are not available. Better buy a new tab.

Well ... it works
For 10€ the chuwi works with this new screen (very slightly more thick).
I get it working some time to time but then I discovered a bad contact in the small connector.
So even if CT362 chipset is not mentioned in the headers of ct36x driver, tablet can work whatever touchscreen is used (the original one or this one).
I've upgraded the tablet to your latest Android Kitkat ROM v2.1. I was a bit upset because the new CWM requires a working touch screen ! ... but everything works fine.
Thanks a lot for your ROM
