Okay, before i go to bed now (its almost 1am here in germany), i would like to share something i found out with you.

THIS here is the EXACT Tablet that i own, TP10.1 1500 DC Metal, (NO DARK METAL), with the silver back. Looks EXACTLY like it:

http://www.amazon.de/Unbekannt-TP10-1-1500DC-METAL-WI-FI-I-ONIK-Netbook/dp/B00AH90NFQ#productDescription

Of course, its only available as used, but the description comes from IONIK itself, and there it says, that the resolution is 1280x800.

I dont know if this helps you in any which way, but i thought i'd share.

Ok, Metal and Dark-Grey-Metal do have different hardware. At least the touch-conroller.

http://www.android-hilfe.de/i-onik-tablets-forum/336046-cnmemory-i-onik-tp10-1-1500dc-metal-10-1-tablet-32.html#post6610619

Maybe you should post in the right thread to get the firmware for "Metal".

Found only an older kernel, but not sure if it will work http://crewrktablets.arctablet.com/?wpfb_dl=1201

ah, i see... I posted in the thread, asking for a firmware image of the stock image of the tablet. So i am holding thumbs for that now.

On other news, i flashed the kernel you linked me to, but now the tablet doesnt do anything anymore... and i can't seem to get it into Flash-mode anymore. I hope, i only forgot to shut it down properly yesterday and its just that the battery is empty.
I'll keep you posted.

That sounds not good. To enter flashmodus press and hold M (or whatever the key for flashmodus is) and press reset.

Not good at all, i know =/

Usually, the FlashMode is Holding Volume-Up and then plugging in the PowerSupply... But i noticed this change during our diagnostics / fixing effort sometimes... Like, VolumeUp and, say, power would get into clockwork, or holding power and plugging in USB would get into FlashMode... things like these. It just would get mixed up sometimes, when i / we tried something new. When i first posted here, for example, there wasnt even anything on the screen when it went into FlashMode, i just could tell because i randomly plugged in USB on a blind guess. I had to play around with all this  every now and then when i was trying to flash something.

Again: Still trying, gonna keep you posted.
(though i don't have a very good feeling about it at all)

EDIT: I assume, it is possible to kill a tablet to the point where it won't even get into recovery by flashing a non-working Kernel?

EDIT 2:  PHEW! Got it into flashing mode now...  This time, it was VolumeDown + Plug in USB. I will try to reflash your CM10.1 port, StockRecovery Version, but with the Kernel you linked me to today and see what that does. Still hoping to get an image of the StockFirmware on Android-Hilfe.de

P.S.: I assume, you are from germany as well? But lets keep writing in english, so other people with the same tablet have it easier to follow these steps, if they have problems like mine.

So, i just flashed your MOD, stock-RecoveryVersion with the new Kernel you posted, without any fixes.
Tablet boots fine, but the Touchscreen still does'nt work.

Is it worth trying to flash CWM now and apply all the fixes, or doesnt that have an effect, because the driver's still the wrong one?

Ah, so you ARE a german "Granny", after all!
Great to meet you!

And oooooh... While i might not be a developer or coder (except for a little Python here and there), but just a nerdy Tech-freak, i do see what you mean with that find! Looks VERY interesting and almost identical to my tablet!

But yeah, i wonder... how does that actually work in terms of drivers? Are those built into the Kernel on Android / Linux ?

And so far, there hasn't been a response on AH, but hey: i only posted there a few hours ago, so lets give that some time.

EDIT: (edit, edit edit....) If i ever find the stock-firmware, be it on AH or elsewhere, i will, of course, share it with you so you can add it to your archive. Goes without saying.

Okay. So i flashed your CyanogenMOD version with the stock-recovery version and the N101 Kernel, and guess what?

The touchscreen is WORKING!

Didnt try any other hardware yet (except WiFi, which seems to work fine) and i still get the phone-layout, but so far it works!

I assume, the next logical step is to flash CWM (by itself, of course) and apply some of the fixes you provided, for example the Tablet Layout one as well as the battery one?

Again:
You ROCK! Thank you so much!

EDIT: Just for testing purposes / your information: i just got a TINY bit of a graphicsglitch when changing the screens orientation, but it resolved itself after a second, and just to test things, i installed "ProCapture" Camera app, and it says it can't connect to the camera. Thought this info might be useful to you for your developement purposes.

Fine. Install format_NAND fix and the camera will be ok.

Okay.

Flashed CWM, applied fixes in this order:

Format_NAND, add HDMI, add CRT and SDCARD_RW.

Funnily enough, on reboot, it kept the settings/data from when i was first trying it out, so no dataWipe did occure at all.

Still, Camera's not working at all, even after rebooting, doing a wipeData/Factory Reset and reapplying the fixes.

I mean, this is no biggie, as i am glad the tablet runs at all in the first place, but i think the fact that it didnt wipe data even if i told it to is kinda interesting.

Will try wiping data again and immediately reboot now to see if it makes a difference.

EDIT: When i try to wipe data, it tells me that make_extf4fs failed on /dev/block/mtdblock7 and /dev/block/mtdblock6, so neither formatting data nor formatting cache seemed to work.

Maybe i should repeat the procedure, but this time EraseIDB...? I think, i forgot to do that when i flashed the ROM with the yanando kernel now...
