My machine is a Yuandao N90 RK3066.

I used "RK30 Genio by Oma rocks – AOSP 4.2.2", with "kernel_308_n90_yuandao" changed, and "Oma_RK30_generic stock recovery". After successful flashing, the machine doesn't restart. And I can't manually get into recovery also. Did I use the wrong Kernel?

Please help!

Thanks!

Yes. Kernel for RK30 is here: http://crewrktablets.arctablet.com/?wpfb_dl=584

Try each key together with reset (kernel maybe looks to another key).

Hi, I have used the same kernel as you provided, but no luck. The machine does't start up after flashing. Then what to do?

Can you package them into an img file for me to use RKPatchTool to flash? I am familia with RKPatchTool operation.

Thanks!

My pad is a Yuandao N90ii RK3066 IP

What tab do you have? N90 or N90II? Is a stock firmware available?

My machine is a N90 2 DualCore(which should be a Cortex A9 dual core machine). The following is the manufacturer's web site:

http://www.yuandaocn.com/product_details.aspx?id=24

I am using a official stock rom as "N90双擎2-4.1.1-20120907-CZ-正式版固件.zip".

Hi, Oma, Thanks! I will try this kernel and hope it works after backup the current data from the pad. Beside replacing the right kernel, should I need to replace the recovery image with "Oma_RK30_generic stock recovery" or some other recovery image?

Hi, Oma, I can successfully flash RK30 Genio by Oma rocks -AOSP 4.2.2 by using the right kernel you provided. Every thing seams ok. Accept I feel there is a little bit slow than the official stock rom 4.1.1 dated 20130816. The 2.5G program partition is good, which is enough for install daily use programs. But both of your rom and the official stock rom doesn't support Ad-Hoc wifi. Can you add this?

May I ask what to use for the following patchs:

1. CrewRKTablets_AOSP_v3.3_extSD_to_NAND_fix

2. CrewRKTablets_AOSP_v3.3_intSD_to_NAND_fix

3. CrewRKTablets_AOSP_v3.3_TabletUI_fix

4. Oma RK30 JB 4.2.2 Format NAND

There is a little problem, may be I don't know how to use. When I use camera to take photos, can't store to the machine memory, keep asking can't find Ext. SD card.

Thanks again.

Format NAND (4.) will format your user partitions (as the stock recovery will do). After that your cam will find the memory to store.

TabletUI (3.) will give you an UI without the top bar.

With extSD to NAND (1.) you can mount the external sdcard as internal sdcard, which gives you up th 64 GB of space for installing app-data and media contents. So no app2sd is necessrary.

With intSD to NAND (2.) you can restore the normal (stock)- mount.

Use this fixes directly with first installation. Later usage will causes problems.

Wifi ad-hoc is difficult. You can try that: http://crewrktablets.arctablet.com/?wpfb_dl=633

If this fails just flash system.img to restore (tick only parameter and system).

Then, should I reflash all the things again and do the first time access for the fixes?

How can I manually get into recovery by using your "Oma_RK30_generic stock recovery"?

Thanks!

Hi, Oma, I re-flash my RK3066 pad with your cm10.1 rom, with the zip built-in recovery, which can get into recovery. I then use the Format Nand fix, by which the camera can store photo into memory. For the Ad_hoc fix, I can't use it. Because after install this fix, I can't find any wifi. There is a small bug, when rotate the pad, the screen will flash for a while (less than 1 second) and resume back, which doesn't effect anything but just don't feeling well. Please solve it if you can. The cm10.1 rom seems faster than the "CrewRKTablets_RK30_Genio by Oma_AOSP_4.2.2_v3.3". May be I can get back to try "CrewRKTablets_RK30_Genio by Oma_AOSP_4.2.2_v3.3" again and give you feedback later.

Thanks!

Confirm the new built 1.3.5 works on my N90ii DualCore, without screen flashing when rotating screen.

Hi, Dear Oma, I would like to inform you that the Ad-hoc fix you provided doesn't work for me. Any other solution? Thanks!
