I solved. Apps must be in internal memory. Then they don't disappear.

Hi Oma,

I'm new to flashing devices(at least tablets/smarphones) and i still have some problems and questions.

I tried via ADB in recovery, but after upload kernel.img the update is aborted. Also fastboot does not recognize device in recovery mode, ADB does.

Then i also tried 2 different rk flashtools, the 1.7 and an other one, but keeping having problems there, it sais there is a device found, but when i try to choose kerel.img, it sais loading image failed(or something like that).

It 'should be' probems with drivers, tried reinstalling and installing 10 times, also on forum they speak about 2 drivers for fastboot, but in recovery mode device is recognized(only by adb).

So my questions are:

1)What flashtool/program do you use, and do you maby have tutorial of it?
2) What do you mean with "change it in folder rockdev/Image before flash." in OP? for 445 build(wich one i need).
3) What's the difference between the Kernel.img and these files, are they needed for flashing? :

Oma ESP build v1.0

update 15.02.2015: fix broken gms core

Oma ESP build v1.1

update 16.02.2015: swapp mounts

Oma ESP build v1.2  external sdcard mandatory!

Kind Regards, and good work!

Ok found what you meant. Changed the image in the directory for correct built.

But now next problem : I tried "run" a few time in the flashtool(after i cleared).

One time it was almost finshed , but now it keeps hanging at : "Prepare IDB Fail."

What can i do to fix it and complete the installation?

Thanks.

Edit : Manged to get it working using a shorter/thicker usb cable...

And now at this step :

"go to app drawer, open RebootMenue and Reboot to Bootloader"

What is App drawer? Don't understand it.

Steps after that with CWM and android tool i get....Bet step a) i don't get...

Thanks

ok found it, and off to bed now, thanks for the stuff!!

ok last question. With Xposed Framework > Starter Pack What can i do exactly with that and those .AKP packages? I found it was some kind of virtual environment to install apps...

Hi everyone, I've tried your rom 1.2 with kernel 445 (by the italian altroconsumo).

I followed the instructions of "Oma ESP v1.2 build external sdcard mandatory!", step by step, and when I get to the point 3-d, I get this error:

[img=http://s9.postimg.org/9kwniaba3/error.jpg]

Also what is meant by "external sdcard mandatory!"?
Should I put a sd card into the slot?

Thanks for the support

Yes, one will not have the full functionalty without an external sdcard.

Fail could be a problem of a not proper connection. Use an other usb-cable.

Unzip the file and copy the kernel.img into the folder rockdev/Images.

See post #1. You should use the kernel which was on the tab.
