For testing pls find below the following kernel (change in folder rockdev/Images before flashing):
-
For tabs with MT7601 wifi install this fix via CWM: http://crewrktablets.arctablet.com/?wpfb_dl=1762
Akaso R70 - http://crewrktablets.arctablet.com/?wpfb_dl=2053
Before flash anything into the tab pls make sure you have the genuine firmware as a fall-back position.

Hello again,
I finaly found the time to test everything again.
Startet from scratch on my 1st Gen chuwi V17pro.
Unfortunally it stays the same ... after a shutdown and power up no wifi.
What I did in detail:
- flashed the ROM/CWM with the Kernel you linked - no wifi
- flashed the fix via CWM - wifi works
- shutdown tablet, power back on - no wifi
- boot to CWM, factory reset, boot - wifi works
Then again the same bulls*** ... it only works one time.
What I don't get: After FR I don't flash the Fix, but it Wifi works?!?!
Isn't that weird!?!?!?!
I hope you can help me with that. Thanks in advance
Edit: typo

Just found the Stock Firmware, if anybody wants it:
Edit:
Flashed it and it works for the 1stGen v17pro
The included tutorial is in chinese language, but thanks to google translate that was no problem at all.
Sadly it's very slow and choopy - I loved the JB build by Oma but without wifi life sucks

This ROM and the Kitkat ROM by Oma should work on your device.
tried that one but got a strange screen (moving lines). tried with other kernel (this lead to a stuck on booting)

Hello Oma,
I am in need of a bit of assistance.
I own a RK3026 tablet similar to the Chuwi V17pro branded Smartech (MB: ZED ZM726C-MB-V1.2 RK3026) and I cannot boot your firmware on it. I have tried all the firmwares and kernel combinations that I could think of from your posts on this forum, but with no succes.
Maybe you can help me, here is te link to the original clockworkmod backup of the original firmware.

I would love to run your 4.4.2 firmware if possible, but also your Chuwi Android 4.2.2 would be great.
I would want this firmware for the USB HUB functionality and also maybe you can tell me if a USB -Serial adapter CP2103 would be detected and atached to TTYUSBx by this firmware.
Thank you.

Here is the kernel: http://crewrktablets.arctablet.com/?wpfb_dl=2895
Try it with the Roverpad build.

Thank you OMA,
Applying the model fix is not necessary.
The V17pro build did also have no wifi, but cheking Dmesg told me that there were some missing files in /system/etc/firmware folder.
I copied the missing files from the stock backup and presto, wifi working nicely.
This is the link to the working firmware for this 7 inch, single Cam, Smartech (MB: ZED ZM726C-MB-V1.2 RK3026), in case anybody else needs it.

All credits go to OMA.
One question more, could we have a parameter file to get like 600 Mb for Apps and the rest for SDcard? On this tab I am in need for max SDcard space.

Sure, here are the dmesg-es of the working/your original firmware.

Not sure exactly wich files I have added to your firmware as I just unpacked the Firmware folder from my backup archive and NOT overwrite any of the existing files.
Yeay, the 600 Mb parameter file is working!
BTW, can you tell us how exactly are you modifying the kernels ? 🙂
Thank you Oma, you are the man. 🙂
