ClockworkMod (CWM) Recovery easy install for RK3066 and RK3188 -- TWRP/CWM Flash-Tool and root for RK3288
Please donate to support OMA and CrewRKTablets firmware work, thank you !

I have tried all the builds for Odys_Loox now on my CMP741D
my favorite is CrewRKTablets_RK29_Loox_CM10.1_4.2.2_v1.2 http://crewrktablets.arctablet.com/?wpfb_dl=901
mostly because the nova launcher on this one has vertical dock orientation while in landscape mode but also everything seems to be working as expected.
wish I could somehow add USB Hub support from homebrew to it. is that possible and if so, how?
until then I will go back to trying to get Ubuntu Touch working.
JochenKauz, I have a suggestion. if you could add a comments feature to each page from http://crewrktablets.arctablet.com/ that would really help people. or instead you could start a post here in this forum for each new page and add a link to it for discussion about these things; And,
if you ever get a chance to adjust your homebrew kernel to add CMP741D support, I would gladly perform any testing you may need for this and am willing to provide some type of donations if that would help also.
thanks

Hi,
the comment feature of WP was deactivated to prevent spamming, but the link to a forum post could be a good idea.
If the stock kernel does not have activated the USB-Hub function, normally not, it will not be possible to use a hub.
Regarding a homebrew kernel, we could try to build one, but unfortunately I'm really busy in RL at the moment and have very less time for it.
I have looked at your dmesg, and as always the screen and touch are really problematic to solve.
Per aspera ad astra, we rock the Tablets !
If you like our firmwares, please consider making a donation to support our work.
Thank you!

busy in RL is good! mostly anyway.. I try to spend as much time on these things as I can now that I see these devices will be becoming more and more popular and useful. training myself on this cheapo tab now so I can do more with something better later.
if you ever do have a spare time for this let me know here and we can probably work something out for a hardware or other donation.
IM happy with the CM10 now and starting to get familiar with most useful apps for me and adjusting them to fit my needs more precisely. specifically the security aspects and browser tweeks. Opera Labs, mobile v12.0 seems to be the best so far for this. it was the last opera to allow plugins/extensions on the mobile version and the opera:config is available for editing preferences which. in all the later versions it seems they stopped providing access to custom configurations.
