I think we talk in english, trilingual is a little bit difficult.:-)
Please give a little bit more information, what tablet do you have, an Odys Loox?
He has an odys loox, and after he installed the Oma firmware, his tablet appears as being a SmartPad810c
He wants to know what is the procedure to re-flash the tablet with the stock firmware.
I don`t understand on what he refers when he is saying universal android drivers, maybe you have an idea.
I struggled also a little bit to understand
Thanks for the clarification, was not clear to me.
To get back to stock is easy to do..
Get Update Package from here:
and install it as described in the included manual.
I would suggest that for the Loox it is best to use Oma JB v1.2.2 World Edition or Odys Loox rocks with Jelly Bean! – Pimp My Rom Edition …
V1.2.2a runs on nearly 200 RK2918 tablets all over the world.
But for the universal android drivers... no idea
is not simple. I downloaded the original firmware, but ODYS LOOX tablet after I installed AOM in my computer hardware appears to be smartpad810c. in "about" on the tablet, as shown, smartpad810c.
problem is I can not connect to RKAndroidTool.exe as I have proper drivers. I tried all drivers are not supported
Hmm... how did you flash the first time Oma's ICS for Loox?
If you unpack the stock rom, or the CustomRom of Oma, you find a directory for the drivers.
But only to be sure... try this
Connect your Tablet in flash mode to your PC. Open the device manager and make a complete deinstallation of the device, including "remove drivers".
BTW, what OS are you using? Windows 7?
is possible to update to a version RK2918, or directly from the official firmware or a patch from the microSD card?
or a patch type apk, or something that just modify the reporting and use this driver?
because I feel like it would be easier to deal with a patch apk and then I switch to official firmware. OMA not know what was in your head .... of was not paying attention and did not patch and no contact has not responded to
Smartpad810C is a RK2918 tablet too, so I think its only something Oma used in the build.prop of the rom.
But now to your problem... please describe exactly what you do, to get the Loox into flash mode. Second please make screenshots of your device manager when you try to get it into flash mode, at this point I don't know what happens exacty to you, but I think there is problem with the procedure you are using.
Thanks for the pics..
but what do you do exactly to get the Loox into flash mode?
Please describe every step.
tablet off, then menu + power. menu appears after you insert the data cable. I tried with vol-and power ... does not work like other combinations.
Anyway, I think the only solution would be a solution or a patch zip or update.zip to be run from the tablet. but am open to proposals that do not destroy the tablet
as far as I know there is no possibility to get an update.img for the Loox, because Odys never published something like that.
Only way I see is that you can get to another PC which never had somthing todo with an android device. At this PC you could install the drivers and flash the stock rom. Other way, look at your pc for the drivers and delete them by hand and make a reinstall.
