Hi guys
Very compliments for your CM10.1 last release. It's very nice and works good !
To Fix Bluetooth :
1) you have to compile the kernel with uhid driver and without all bluetooth section drivers and without rfkill drivers.
2) use the files from Christiantroy Patch http://www.mediafire.com/download/0hvj6cqeu3c7stb/jb-mr2-usb_bluetooth.zip. dont' flash the zip , simply use the libs and remember at boot to run "bt-helper"
have Fun !

Thanks for feedback yatto!
I can load an uhid module (attached) and use the libs from your post.
However, I cannot manage bluetooth working (0a12:0001 Cambridge Silicon Radio, Ltd Bluetooth Dongle).

Oma,
Be sure that no bluetooth and rfkill stuff are in the kernel to get BT working.
I removed them from my kernel : (bluetooth, btusb, bnep, rfkill, etc. etc.)
than i added uhid driver.
from the zip
put libbt-hci.so and libusb.so in /system/lib
put libbt-vendor.so in 7system/vendor/lib
put bt-helper in /system/bin and give it 755 permission
put bt-reset in /system/xbin and give it 755 permission
put in init.d the script that start bt-helper. If bt-helper does not start BT will not work !
On my tab and others from my friends, with your rom cm10.1 rel 1.2.3 for rk29board it works !
Bye,
 yatto

Oma7144Thanks for your reply.
Do you have sources for the libbt-vendor and libbt-hci.so?

Hi Netlars, i don't know where you can find the source but here you can find some stuff:
1) the Christiantroy post tht explains how the hack works:
2) the Google Plus page of the author:
https://plus.google.com/+RicardoCerqueira/posts/4b3X4di33Lm
3) the source ?!?!
https://github.com/CyanogenMod/android_external_bluetooth_bluedroid/tree/cm-10.1
4) the source from Christiantroy git ??
https://github.com/christiantroy/android_actions_gs702a/blob/jb-mr1/android_external_bluetooth_bluedroid/0001-gs702a-initial-merge-of-Actions-code-by-ChristianTro.patch
I hope you can find it.
have Fun !
P.S. : BT works on cm10.1 rel 1.2.4Â and not rel 1.2.3 (i did not try it) that i wrote yesterday...

O more generic solution ?!?
This is a generic solutions, becouse most of the stock kernels no have BT and RFKILL drivers.
So you can apply this patch and load the uhik.ki moduke at boot.
A little question for you Oma, I see in your screenshot that you tab has 333MB of system memory avaiable.
How much memory have your tab ? 1GB ? 512M. What's the source of thath kernel ?
A little question for netlars : Why the rom has no hwcomposer ?!?
Bye,
 Yatto!

Odys Loox has 512 MB. Sources are on our git.
Hm, there are a lot of stock kernel coming with rfkill.
With my stock kernel this solution won't work. Loox does not have a combi-chip.
Can you pls test with mediacom stock kernel? Uhid.ko is in post #2. Thank you.

The btusb.ko is not in the fix. From what I understood the module is not necessary.
However, I cannot test it here. So feedback is necessary.

I the early days we have huge problems with hwcomposer, as it gives us certain soft-reboots.
In current build hwcomposer will not have advantages anyway.
Pls find it attached. You can use it if you like.
