I have a Odys Iron and wanted to switch to something better than the preinstalled OS, so i installed Odys IRON – CM10.1 Edition. It works fine and i want to stay with it. My problem: Regardless what i change (moving/deleting icons, connect to my wlan by giving it the correct password (which works for that session) or changing any other settings) - anything is lost when i reboot or shutdown and start the device again. It is completely "new" after any reboot/restart. What could be wrong ?
THANKS for any help... I am a newbie with a lot of linux experience on normal Desktops/Notebooks but Android is a new thing for me...

User patition is not formatted properly. Reboot into recovery and perform a factory reset.

Thanks for the fast reply ! It works ! Thank you very much Oma !!!
It is beyond my understanding why this happend or is necessary, because i only followed the instructions given... probably this is a little thing you should include in the docs for the newbies, right ?
Maybe someone else will have this problem, so i thought it could be helpful to describe the procedure for all lame newbies like me:
Go to Settings, then click "Backup & reset", then click "Factory data reset". Read the information about the procedure and then click "Reset tablet".
When recovery opens: look for option "perform a factory reset", use + and - (Volume buttons) to select and the on/off button to select.
