Hi, I just bought a gbook for my nephew's Christmas present. I unwrapped it to check everything was working okay. I charged it and then tried switching it on. The screen displayed the "ARNOVA" logo and nothing else. None of the buttons had any effect. I tried resetting it with a paperclip. The screen went blank for a few seconds and then came back with the ARNOVA logo but still didn't work. When it is connected to a computer it is recognised as an external hard drive "B-D ROM Drive". I am not massively computer literate and am starting to get a bit panicky - under normal circumstances I'd just return it and get a replacement but I bought it in London and we're in Rio for Christmas and it's all getting a bit worrying. Any help, advice, prayers would be welcome!
I don't know much about the Gbook yet, but if there is a reset pinhole try to put a paperclip in it, see if it helps restarting. There are a few Gbook users in our forum, they may have some better tips.
