just like the 7f problem arnova site says that the gbook has a 4:3 screen. here: http://arnovatech.com/products/g3/arn_gbook/index.html?country=kw&lang=en&p=4

here is the text : A full Internet experience
The ARNOVA GBOOK is the
perfectly product for browsing the
web via the integrated Wi-Fi.
Thanks to the 800 x 600 pixel wide
screen, there’s no need to zoom in
and out as web pages will be
displayed at their full width. With
Flash 11 support4 you can
experience the full web with flash
games and videos. Through the
range social networking and chat
applications you can stay in touch
with your family and friends
anytime.

and in the specs page it says. the res is 800x480

posting from phone

im not arguing your point ive noticed a diffrence in information to,

via ES task manger app(free in google play store)>>click>>more>>about phone>>hardware>>screen res:-480x764 and pixel density:-120 Dpi

but most stuff i have playing on mine as long as its of decent quailty originally most plays fine on my gbook

without having to convert any of the videos ive played literally all play in fullscreen even in the default player and look pretty crisp

id also recommend vlc player and mx player if your having any issues (id stick with vlc no problems so far)

you can also get a video convertor via archos anova website but as stated not had much use for it ,,
