Just tried to install Ubuntu on my device to do this we need a rooted device.
I know my device come rooted so no problem I guess, but when we want to install by the terminal we need su.
When I typed su i got not found su: so the su library is not installed on my device.
We tried to install Superuser and Super su but nothing seems to work.
tried to install su lib from recovery mode also no go it say installation aborted.
Anyone know how to install the right su library on this device?
have you tried to push the su files on the tablet and set the permissions, then reboot and see if everything is ok ?
adb push su /system/xbin/su
adb shell chown 0.0 /system/xbin/su
adb shell chmod 06755 /system/xbin/su
adb push superuser.apk /system/app/superuser.apk
also, you can get SuperSU here: http://download.chainfire.eu/324/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.30.zip
you will find both Superuser.apk application and su binary in the archive.

Have in mind that if you do something wrong, you might end up with a brick, which will be recoverable only by dumping the tablet via Linux.
If what i told you earlier works, I have a request, do a dump of the firmware and upload-it somewhere.
I also thing that you need to re-mount the system before you push the files so do the command:
do you know how to use adb ?
but with other adb commands, you get the same result ?
strange then, are you sure that you have root ?
