Can anyone explain me the differences between all the models of Arnova 7 G3 tablets? There are Arnova 7 G3, 7b G3, 7c G3, 7d G3 and 7f G3... I can't view the difference beyond external aspect.

Thanks!

We have an article on our blog in preparation on the subject.

In the meantime, you can also check here: http://www.arctablet.com/blog/archos-tablet/arnova-g3-specifications-prices-and-availability-product-lineup/

In short:

7b G3, 7f G3 are quite similar in specs

7d G3 has a resistive model

7 G3 uses Allwinner A10 CPU, HDMI output

7c G3 has a 3G module for a simcard, GPS, Bluetooth and uses a Qualcomm Snapdrap S2 CPU.

Cheers.

So, what is best? I hope that from the article one can make a good choice! It's best to have an Allwinner CPU or a resistive screen? What's the advantage of the 7b or f, if they don't have nothing special for the same price?

I wait for your article!!

Thanks!

The Allwinner A10 CPU is slightly a better choice performancewise, especially when it comes to GPU performance. Se our comparison article for that:

http://www.arctablet.com/blog/featured/archos-arnova-childpad-review-part-2-benchmarks/

I don't know whether you need an HDMI-port, but it's another thing which differs the 7G3 from the others.

To me, it seems like resistive 7d G3 is cancelled. Anyways, capacitive screen should be much better for nearly all purposes, give our comparison video a look:

Well, the 7f doesn't have USB OTG compatibily(not clearly stated on the Arnova website) and the battery life can be slightly different. If I am not mistaken, the 7b should have double speakers, while the 7d is only left with one. Finally, there are also design choices - which one do you like the most?

The 7c G3 is the most priciest option with only 512MB of RAM(quite limited), but on the other side it has dual cameras, Qualcomm SP2 CPU(1.4Ghz), GPS, bluetooth and a slot for 3G simcard... Actually, I am now writing just the same what admin already stated.
