I think you're hurting updated the rom you install the kernel.img of 8G2
parcour the discution there have a picture to see how you selected the correct kernel.img of AN7G2
system.img for AN10G2 test3 Remove youtube and restoration of original properties

@Morka hi. Launcher options? I'll check. It just when the apps are open I have no access to the status bar so I can't use the back, home, switch window or options buttons. And I can't check notifications either. If I want to close a program I have to power off. AN7G2

Use another launcher because it is builded firmware for tablet with all the buttons
on market search ics launcher he used the options for the status bar

I tried the 10G2, no luck, wouldn't even boot after flashing. I've loaded lots of roms for rk2918, from many manufacturers, most reboot but fail on screen, lots of rom's I've used were from 1024x768 tablets, ICS has run, many allow communication through usb & adb shell, just no user interface otherwise running. Not this one, nothing ... Back to v1.4.

I have repackaged MorkaMod for Arnova 10 G2 with test3 system image, the download links in the first post and Blog have been updated too.
So far MorkaMod 10G2 is good, appart from the Youtube error still there. (Youtube from Android Market).
I agree that keeping /system in cramfs is best to avoid user mistakes in modifying system files/directories, our we can have it in ext3 or ext4 mounted as read only...

Noob question here:
I get invalid update.img on Arnova 8G2, and I CANNOT get it into recovery for the life of me, how do I do it? I tried reset + volume up, but nothing happens?
Any help would be great.

On the Arnova 8G2, this firmware is quite usable, but still require some testing to be confirmed stable.
Always check the first post for latest firmware for your device, we'll try to keep it up to date.
Try to flash the firmware image with Rockchip Flash tool:

going into flash mode is Reset + Volume up.

bizare that youtube cause this problem on the original firmware it does not have this problem

Managed to do it; Sat watching device manger on my PC while holding Reset + Volume up, and behold and unknown device appeared, yet no sound? Hm, It didn't even try to install drivers either.
Anyway, installed the drivers, ran the flashing tool, and it is now running like a dream on my 8G2, No issues of anykind so far apart from the Youtube app not being able to connect, but I see that is a common issue.
Also, the Andromedia app force crashes on opening.
