Hello,

Is it "normal" the market says, when we try to install a tablet app, thar our device is incompatible (my device on market was recognized as Unknwon G2)

Regards,

Some apps are marked as incompatible in the Market and can't be install this way.

This happens mostly for hardware compatibility reason. If you believe it could work, you can always get the application (.apk file) from a supported device and load it on your G2.

Just for the record what's the name of the incompatible app ?

I have a number of apps that are that way. Some do work when extracted from my LG Optimus V and loaded to the tablet. INCnow was one such app. The ones that won't load though are through developers DoApps, Raycom Media, and WSI (Mainly TV Station apps and TV Station Weather apps.) I load them, click install after clicking the apk, and then it says installing. Shortly after, it says "Application not installed" and all I can do is click done. It has even happened with ones I have d/l'ed directly from Amazon Appstore. Some from there have worked (IE - WVAH11, WSYX6), but others have not. Unknown why. Be well 🙂
