you can address the adb reboot recovery from adb, you need debugg mode on to do that.
ok... not having fun here... after I put my 10g2 tablet into recovery mode... the square does not turn green, it stays pink/red and does not ask me for a driver... I followed the procedure for setting the system correctly... I have done everything and followed all the troubleshooting guide as much as I can... any assistance would be appreciated... thank you!

What's the difference between the "upgrade" & "restore" feature in the RBT?
Upgrade sends the firmware to the tablet, Restore does the same, but format part of the tablet flash memory before.
In general, using Upgrade is fine, Restore button can help with Bricked device that do not boot anymore or flashing firmwares that have a different partition layout.

Trying to install the Arnova 9 G2 custom ics firmware, I'm following instructions using the Rockchip flashing tool. When I go to put the device into flashing mode, instead of finding the device and prompting for a driver I get the following:
USB Device Not Recognized One of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it.
Tried it on a few Win7 computers and on an XP computer, same result.
Changed the hardware installation settings and tried a different cable, as per the troubleshooting section. Same result.
Unknown device shows up in Hardware Manager, but only while the reset pin is still pushed in. I can click to upgrade driver while it's pushed in but then message says it already has the best driver. Then when reset pin is pulled out it all disappears and tablet restarts.
Any thoughts anyone?
I am having exactly the same issue as agreller, I have even tried forcing the driver install manually but Windows doesn't recognise the driver!!
I have tried this on a couple of machines too, Windows seems to think its a faulty USB device could this be a Windows 7 Service pack issue? Is there no alternative for Windows and Mac?
I am on the ARNOVA 10b G3

I am having trouble with my Arnova 9 G2. I have successfully installed the drivers but did not get a green square in the Rockchip Batch Tool. I have restarted my windows xp pc and the arnova a few times but to no avail, still no green box! The tablet does load up and connect to the PC just not to Rockchip.
Never mind, this problem is sorted. Now to find a thread about the other problems.
