FCC web site brought us a new Arnova 90 G3 tablet on April 1st, there must be something fishy going on Not much details are available for product codename SOVAN90G3 on the FCC site, it currently just offers some test reports and the tablet case layout which clearly shows a 16/9 screen ratio. While the tablet hasn't been announced by Arnova, a quick search on the web shows that the Arnova 90 G3 is actually available for sale on a few sites in Spain and France, that's a great occasion to get more details about the specs.
Update 2013/04/03: Arnova has just updated their website with the 90 G3 pages.
French retail store Auchan.fr actually has the product in stock for €99.
The detailed specs from the seller product page are showing a very low end Android 4.1 Jelly Bean tablet with the following specifications: Cortex A9 at 1.2 GHz processor, 512 MB RAM, 9" multipoint display, WiFI, 4 GB storage, microSD slot, front camera. The announced screen resolution of 800x480 pixels, with tablet dimensions (23.9 cm x 1.16 cm x 14.8 cm) and a weight of 480g seems to be quite unusual for a 9" tablet, if the pictures and numbers can be trusted, that would feature a wide 16/9 screen ratio and a very low density (understand _big_ pixels) which is even under the Android ldpi value (120 dpi)
