Welcome andrew, no joy yet, appslib is ok but it only let's you download 3rd party apps. I did install an apk file which worked, but didn't create an icon on the apps page, if you go back to file manager, it only finds the installation file, reinstall it and it fails to install, pretty frustrating, I am using facebook and youtube via the browser instead of an app.

andrew, could you try what I did, go onto appslib, on the right side there's a program called arctools. Once installed open it and it asks you if you want to download the market and other apps. Download it and it then gives you the option to install. This is where it goes wrong for me... I get error code 20 & 28. This method doesn't affect your firmware,
there is another option to flash the firmware which will give you the google app store but says to do this at own risk. It worked on my 10 g2 and I think it bricked it. If your download worked, then it could be my tablet that's at fault

Hi
I tried this. I get the same error codes. The firmware option doesn't offer any firmwares to download.
Regards
Andrew
Guys,
Using Arctools won't help for the moment.
Google Play (Android Market) support for the Arnova 9 G3 (and other G3s) should be released soon, we'll announce it on our forum.
Cheers.

Just picked up my Arnova 9 G3 this afternoon. Â Pretty nice. Â Just working through the setup and stuff, but I quite like. Â Seems like a bargain for the money. Â Weirdly my total space on the 'Arnova 9G3' section says 2.05Gb. Â I'm new to Android, but its a 4Gb device, should that not say 4Gb?

I got an Arnova 9 G3 from Maplin as well and I have the same memory issues as described above. The device is saying it has total space of 2.06GB rather than the expected 4GB. The screen is similar to above. When connected to the PC the Arnova shows up as a 2.05GB device. Any ideas would be appreciated
