Recently I tried to connect my Arnova 9 G2 tablet to my home internet. Yet each time i press connect it goes through this cycle of Authenticating disconnect authenticating disconnect.
It never connects even if im standing right next to my router. Im typing the password in correctly as my phone connects no problem.
Anyone have the same issue or even better... does anyone know how to fix this ?
Thanks for your time
Change the channel from your router, also the encryption to wpa 2
Reboot the tablet
Each rooter has an administration interface, you connect to it using a user and a password
Usually the adress is 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1, it is also written on the back of the router.
The user is admin/user
The password : password/admin/user
The 192.168.x.x needs to be written in the browser.
Thanks again for your reply, i logged in and changed the channel from 1 to 11, as my tablet connected to another network when i was at someones house which was channel 11 so i would assume itd work with mine too.
How ever as for the WPA2 it seems to already be set at that.. but still it dosnt want to connect.
iv attached an image, not sure if it helps.
Thanks for your ongoing support.
Sharing your SSID & WPA secret key with everybody wasn't needed
Well you can first try to change WPA encryption type see if fixes the problem, if it doesn't, try to temporarily change the values for Security, even going to None just for a test.

Ah damit! haha i didnt notice they were there!
I played about with the Security and tried all the options which resulted in my computer not being able to connect but thankfully my phone could still so i was able to change it back!
the tablet would connect if i turned it to "Open" so im not sure why it wont work on each of the other ones ?
they are -
When you type the password on your tablet, do you type it with the big chars ? something like KHQSK ?
The password is key sensitive, so if for example you have the password ARCTABLET and you try to connect from your tablet with the password written with small characters like "arctablet" it will not work
I edited your screenshot also.
Well, the last method, do you have a custom firmware installed ?
