I am interested in using my new Arnova 9 G2 out and about using my phone as a wifi hotspot. I have a Nokia E72, and have tried Joikuspot Lite/Free Edition but 9G2 won't recognise the hotspot. I doubt that the paid version of Joikuspot will make a difference. I haven't made any modifications to the tablet but am willing to try.
Would appreciate any help with this issue.

I don't think WIFI tethering requires a specific device on the WIFI side, it should work with the Arnova like it does with another device that connects to a WIFI access point. When you say it won't recognize, that means it is not showing in the AP list ?
Is there any other WIFI tethering software for you to try on the Nokia ?

Hi, thanks to both of you for your prompt replies.
"When you say it won't recognize, that means it is not showing in the AP list ?"
The Joikuspot connection does not show on the list of Wifi connections. I downloaded 'WiFinder' from Appslip, which does detect the Joikuspot connection, but fails to connect. I have tested the Joikuspot connection with a laptop and it worked fine. The hotspot must be broadcasting it's name for the laptop to detect it?
I am not sure if there are any other options for tethering software. I will try and search.
Thanks,
Gasman
See if you can change the WIFI channel on Joikuspot, and try to pick a channel in the channel #1 to 10 range.
