i dont think so i tried with the updated market and it installed fine just when you wanted to dl an app it would just crash

Hi, can anyone help! I've followed the instructions posted on here for downloading the android market to my arnova 9 g2 but when I go to log in I get the error message 'can't establish reliable data connection to the server'. Had the tablet for xmas and am yet to get onto the android market.

hi gerard is when do you get this error mesage at gmail if so at step 1? orat step 5 or 6?

Thanks for this, works brilliantly and I have a very happy daughter once again.
Gerrad I had the same problem with the 'can't establish reliable data connection to the server'. I wasnt powering down the Tablet properly on step 4. Once I had shut it off properly and turned it back on it worked perfectly.Â

Sorry but I must be missing something, the link takes you to a "Download" advert,skip that and you get to down load some sort of "Download" software. I cannot see where the .rar file is coming from.

Any chance of some clearer instructions for us "Uhh ?" people or add a link direct to the .rar file.

thanks for the post mellerdsmrs, sorry for late reply have'nt been on for a while, i have tried that and resetting it and still cant get it to work still get the same message 'can't establish reliable data connection to the server'

hi i am not sure abot the applications being missing i had the same problem and couldnt fix it unfortunatley

as for rooting your device you need to install a custom rom see here for more details

hi i have done some digging and come up with this to fix your market problem

also if you install 3.1.3 i do not think youo will have a problem (see first post)
