Please could someone just give me the basics on how I can get google play and android market etc on my ARNOVA 9 G2 Tab as every time I use arctools it simply comes up with ERROR 28, then ERROR 20. I am a basic user PLEASE HELP?

You're probably not following the right procedure. Everything is detailed here:

http://www.arctablet.com/blog/archos-tablet/market-root-arnova-9-g2-ez-custom-firmware/

If you Arnova 9 G2 is running Android 4 (ICS) this procedure isn't available at the moment and you need to flash the firmware using this other method.

I have tried this and still can't get google play what else can I do?.

I have tried flashing my tablet but can't get it to enter flash mode. I put the paper clip in the reset hole and held the menu button but the rock chip tool won't pick up the device. Any ideas anyone? Am I meant to see anything on the screen when its in flashing mode?

The tablet screen should turn black (or turn off) as soon as the tablet enters in flashing mode.

I have recently added some items in the troubleshooting section on the Flasher page if you have problems setting up the drivers.
