Hello everyone,

i recently thought about attempting to get ICS on my arnova 9 g2 tablet.

downloaded rockchip batch tool and the firmware update ( http://www.arctablet.com/blog/featured/arnova-9g2-custom-firmware-upgrade-ics-google-play-root-face-unlock/

but my issue right no is with the 'flashing' of my tablet. i connect it up to the pc, turn it off. then put a pin in the reset and press the menu button which does something but not what it should, this is the on screen message on the pc i get, shortly after this my tablet turns on just like normal. any help as im a bit lost..

Try like this.

Connect the tablet to the pc.

Reset it using the clip, and shotly after press the menu button, keep them like this till you see a reaction from your pc.

Then install the drivers.

Thanks for getting back to me so fast!

I tried doing this but it does exactly the same thing, the only reaction i see from my computer is still the same as before as shown in my pictures in the other post.

after this the tablet just boots up over time

install java sdk, android sdk, without the api`s

enable usb debugging and issue this in adb

adb reboot bootloader

and see if you get a green light in rockchip tools, if you get one, you are good to go with the flashing.
