I have a Arnova 9 G2, at this time i loaded a game and it's crashed, i can't turn it off at all. I am currently waiting for the device to lose it's battery power. Is there any way i can turn the system off without waiting hours for the battery to die. Also i really don't understand flashing and installing new firmwares but if i am to do so what am i going to gain? Sorry i am new to all of this but very interesting too, i am hoping my system will be ok once it's run down and re-booted.
Any help is very much appreciated.
Try to put a paperclip in the reset pinhole, it should restart the device.
Custom firmwares will give you more space to install applications and access to Android Market.
It may not be necessary as there are currently other options to install Android Market without a custom firmware, check the forum.
Thanks for you're reply, i will now try.
I tried to get on Andriod market but it didn't work, i don't think my device is compatible. Please can you tell me how you can get on without installing the custom firmware?
EDIT: Thanks so much, the reset button worked 🙂 Very happy great site.
