Hi everybody, I'm a new user of this forum as I've just become an happy owner of the "Nine" G2.

I'm writing from Italy, and I'm very-very happy of my new tablet: brilliant IPS, good touch, battery Ok. I've just starting using it, but almost any thing exceeds my expectations. Only significant limitation is in the lack of GPS, however this is a known feature of the 9 G2.

I've installed the ArcTools and made firmware update, excellent !

As I'm so happy of my tablet, that I soon bought an external keyboard for it, it is an Android specific keyboard with USB i/f and ... it doesn't work Cry

My guess is that the USB port, normal size, on the 9 G2 may not be a powered one, therefore the keyboard cannot work. The question now is: is the mini-USB port of the "Nine" a powered one, so that if I could connect to the mini-USB port (by buying an adapter cable USB female to mini USB) it could work ? As I've already thrown out 40 euros for a totally useless keyboard, I'd rather save the other 10 euros for a potentially useless USB cable ...Confused

Thanks to anybody who may advise ...

It's a wired keyboard. I start thinking which may be either the KB which is defective or my USB port, because in an italian forum another guy said that he works with the USB Keyboard on the same device with no problem.

Have you an idea on how can I test the USB power ? Using a memory stick it works ...

Problem Solved !

It was the keyboard USB connector which was a little faulty, but buy pushing very very well the connector into the USB plug of the "Nine" it worked... Smile
